World For Life (WFL) is a faith-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that exists to glorify God by advancing the Gospel of the Kingdom through prayer, discipleship, and mission.

World For Life USA exists to support the mission and vision of World for Life Uganda by advocating through faithful prayer, raising awareness, and mobilizing resources and missionary workers.

We envision thriving, self-sustaining Kingdom communities that serve as a witness to Jesus Christ in the Busoga region of Uganda and Metro Detroit, rooted in Christian discipleship, spiritual family, and a gospel-centered life in Jesus Christ.
Our Story
Founded by Ibrahim Byakika, a former semi-professional soccer player, World for Life was born out of a powerful story of transformation. After giving his life to Jesus Christ in 2016, Ibrahim discovered a greater purpose beyond the game, to use his God-given talents to serve others and share the love of Christ in action.
In 2018, following a head injury that ended his playing career, God led Ibrahim to establish World for Life Organization, a ministry designed to reach more people beyond sports, bringing hope, faith, and practical love to those in need.
Today, World For Life serves communities in both the Busoga region of Uganda and Metro Detroit, Michigan (USA), uniting hearts across continents to transform lives and expand God’s Kingdom.
